First, the POVA--Last summer, they were running from Usk to Sandpoint and back every other day (meaning M-W,F one day and Tu-Th the next), but there were times when they wouldn't make the full trip in time and have to start out where they went dead. Normal operations have them leaving Usk right at 0730. No current business north of Usk, but I heard a rumor about something up on the north end in the future.
Stan is still the man on the W&I. Hopefully he will give you the answers (I'd like to know some of them too). They do have a conductor-in-the-chase-car operation. I saw the F-unit in Marshall a couple of weeks ago, but don't know if they are using it right now. It's facing south.
As for other area items, the STMA is still running to Plummer on M-W-F to meet the UP's turn out of Spokane.
