How sad, Dave B, that you only see the worst in people. The article is written by someone who believes in trails and rails and has a uniter attitude, but you only see fit to post divisive comments.

There are places in the US where trails do co-exist with railroads such as Pittsburgh where I live. In fact the trails here provide rail fanning opportunities at some locations which would not be possible without the trails. This trail system has been in place for over ten years and trail users and the railroads all seem to get along.
