I find next to no foamers at RR museums. Museums are not trying to save everything. Some are trying to shed some of what they have to gain space to better display what they want to keep. I find people dedicated to restoration and operation. I find people attempting to educate, some quite successfully. Go see the new educational facility at the Museum of Transport outside St. Louis as an excellent example. I assume Educator you participate in the educational programs at the museums near you. They all could use help.

Museums are evolving from let's get it before it disappears and play trains with it to now that we have it how do we explain to the next generation what it is and meant.
