Would be nice to revive that idea. Having a destination for your ride enhances the visitor experience, IMHO. I am familiar with that park. It could use some improvement. A joint venture between Calif. parks and the museum could create something special.
Also, it could get a loop or wye off the historic ROW, although based on some "purists" I know, that wouldn't soothe them much. I am all for accuracy, but some people must realize that it will never be "pure" and you have to make some alterations in the name of operational and preservation need. A loop at the end makes infinite sense.
If I recall, the SN used to have a spur near Fire Engine Road. Is the ROW still around for that?
