Carhouse 1 was good in its day. (For those who don't know, it is a four track pole barn perhaps 250' long with roof and sides, but no ends.) It was, and is, a vast improvement over storing cars outside. But it does not offer the protection that modern museum barns provide (e.g., Carhouse 3 - which has ends, doors and the mass needed to provide relatively constant temperature and humidity).
