This always seemed like a project that had a high chance of success.

Just buy cars and run - (and, yes, cough up some cash and get an
agreement with UP). I wonder if it will be subsidized in any way?
It is stated to be a private endeavor but I could imagine grants
from the government - "green grants" and such, as well as cash
from the casino's as was the case with New Jersey Transit's Casio
Train which ran from NY to AC with similar passenger equipment,
though not as luxurious.

If you can't have speed, luxury was the way to sell it.

Looks like an F59 PHI but I recall rumors and saw pics in
the accompanying video showing off a right nice E-8!

I thought at one time the speed was going to reach 110 mph
but I'm thinking now it will be 79?
