Having dealt with the folks in Salem for 20+ as a shortline owner, my observation was spot on. From the tone of your posts and the fact that you chose to hide behind an alias, assume you are one of them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I fully realize the BNSF and UP have a remarkable ass kissing talent and after three failed Connect Oregon applications, realize that my time is far too valuable in running our operation than chasing my tail running applications to the folks in Salem. As stated previously, our operation is extremely profitable and a role model for anyone in the shortline business.
