All of SP's SD39s has single control stands.

I know of no Southern units with dual control stands, regardless of which end was designated as "F".

SP's SW1500s and MP15DCs were built with the SW1200-type control stands of which you speak, while most if not all of SP's MP15ACs had the center control cabinet/control stand (unfortunately).
