I rode that Vasona Light Rail System back in July 2009 and have mixed feelings about it. Yes, it did seem to take awhile to get from one end of it to the other, it is just the fact that they are like buses, stopping on every street intersection and corner there is. This is what really slows them down. As far as ridership goes, all of them I rode throughout the course of a day were full, but at no time, including the rush hour, were there standing room only. I would have rather been on this anyday then be out there on the roads or highways. So I guess it just depends on where you live and where you need to go. Just like the current city I live in. I could have taken the bus to work, but with the transfer, and then walking, then waiting for each bus, I would have to have done, it would have taken me about double the time, then if would to have just driven straight from my house to work. I would have saved tons of money, but would have lost out on prodcution and sleep at home.
Now I am going to take Drew's lead, I'm going to pet my cat, lay down for awhile, then drive to my current job.
Bye.
