Ain't it just awful, those terrible Smart trains, will destroy mankind as we know him, perfect in every way.
Those who fail understand those perfect truths often revealed only to true believers, psychics, or those with perfect hindsight (even if unobtainable or illogical) must be made to see that truth. And thus, it is written that the perfect must always be the enemy of the good, or even that good (especially that good!)which is within the realm of the possible.
The mere thought of incrementalism or any other second best solution which might be used in the improvement of any condition, resulting from reasoned compromise, the reality of actual constraints, or from mere consensus must be abolished. And, the absolutism of those specially anointed with perfect knowledge, a perfect hindsight, and/or other special powers such as true and perfect wisdom must be imposed on those mere mortals who seek to merely exist in that imperfect real world of consensus, compromise and actual constraints!
And thus, Evil Thomas must be stopped! (Unless it can somehow be harnessed to stop that even more insidious BART conspiracy.....?)
As I said in an earlier post, the price of admission at Altamont is actually cheap...... and sometimes is almost as entertaining as the great railroad stories?
