Compared to NWP, at least any decisions made about POTB will be made will a lot of intelligent public & industry input and scrutiny, and that the decisions will be backed up by facts and explanations challenged, no what actually IS decided. A much better opportunity to get to the right place than the twisted, incestuous processes going on at NWP/NCRA. Other than being ex-SP, timber oriented branches with a water problem, there are far for organizational and structual differences than similarities between the two. If the line should be rebuilt, we need to communicate with both goverment and the public in terms of actual, measurable costs & benefits, and derail he idea that rebuilding is just another gov't give-away to a certain industry or private individuals.

Maybe we can rebuild the POTB without a bunch of "consulting"?
