The switch from the Placerville line and crossing of Folsom Blvd. were there until about 2003. I believe there were occasional spots until then for a couple of businesses on the north side of Folsom Blvd. Grade crossing and switch were removed when the light rail line was built (opened 2005). Last time I looked over there, a little rail was still in the weeds along Citrus Rd. close to Folsom Blvd.

The rest of the line, under the freeway and out to the river, became a bike trail many years ago. Be careful at the street crossings if you ride it; drivers don't pay much attention to crosswalk occupants at the signals.
