I never noticed a light rail lane on the Sunrise bridge, but it could be there - traffic is usually horrible enough that I have to pay attention to other things. The new Folsom bridge has a wide median for light rail, too, and a center ramp that would take a track down to the bridge from the Sutter St. station.
Don't know about a line on Sunrise, but it's possible. It would be good to tie Fair Oaks and Citrus Heights into the rest of the system. The scheme I heard about for the Folsom thing was that someday a light rail line would loop from there down Greenback to the Watt-I80 station. None of those are in RT's current published plans, so they'll probably get to the airport and Roseville before any suburb-suburb rail happens. "BRT" (limited stop buses with signal jumps and dedicated lanes in a couple of tight spots) will happen sooner, definitely on Watt and possibly elsewhere like Sunrise.
