While T.M. has done well in explaining the corporate position of FIG; FHL has done equally well in explaining the realities of local politics. Doubtless, FIG considers the people of Coos Bay and probably all of Oregon to be hicks, unworthy of serious concern. Their actions in the matter of CORP speak volumes. However, even hicks can become serious problems when they feel their interests are being violated. FIG would do well to heed FHL's advice and "make nice" and quickly. These minor blips on their corporate radar can become major catastrophies if not handled properly. I for one would not be surprised to see trains rolling over the Syskiyous again.
