I very much agree. Any kind of letter writing or other direct contact with these people cannot turn out well. At best, you play right into his hands as whacko train nuts FROM OUTSIDE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY. At worst, you have him and her suing you (or this board for that matter, for carrying the privacy-violating information posted - would be best if it were removed) or having you arrested for harassment or worse. And I don't care where you found the information, or how public it may or may not be; going after somebody where he/she lives does not help and usually hurts a case, badly.

Do as the Transit Planner says - work with the people who actually make the decisions to ensure that they know how things work and can work, acting as reasonable and rational human beings.
