Hi Everybody-- You're right about the influx of money coming from the Santa Criz vicinity as well as the Silicon Valley. And because of THAT, GGRM will be out cold ! Brian Peoples and that lady in Aptos that is dead set about Nor-Cal Motorcar excursions will get their attorney buddies (and I'm sure there are a lot of them in the areas just mentioned) and will tie up the whole damn thing in the Courts and even scare the RTC folks.

Plus, I still don't see UPRR taking a Hospital Train full of "keepsakes" some 56-60 miles
to the "Saltair" of Monterey County.

Even John Harder (respected rail historian) liked my original WRM idea:

"The Union Pacific Railroad owns the old 5 acre wye site at Creed,which is about 4 miles east of Rio Vista Jct. GGRM could build a yard and the site is already graded for a wye for turning SP 2472. On the other end GGRM could build a wye at Dozier,WRM owns 10 acres here or out at Cannon at Vaca Jct. UP had the Creed site on the Market for only 13,000 a few years ago......."
