This is funny and mostly true. I started as an original member of MOW at age 39. Now i am an old cranky, blue collar 62 year old white male. I have not hosted since they wanted event coordinators to take a test. The club went downhill over the years with too many clueless foamers nerds making rules so they can feel important. I would not call it a dumb event though. We went on some of the greatest runs that can never happen again. Including the McCloud RR the Entire NWP Lombard to Arcata. A motorcar overnight camping trip north of Willits on the NWP and the San Rafael branch. A roundtrip overnight run from Healdsburg to Fort Bragg were northbound we had a meet at Ukiah with another club running southbound. The entire Tillamook line. Nevada Northern and the Siskiyou line. All priceless memories.
