They already operate Anaheim Resorts Transit (ARTS), Dianna Kotler even stole the name from the system I helped start in Pasadena (Pasadena Area Rapid Transit Service "ARTS")........, so Anaheim has done that experiment.

This project has been talked about for a while, in various permutations. It is (was?)another part of Anaheims plans for trying to tie the New Station into the City and especially the Resort complex. The current bus services have poor frequency, long travel times, poor reliability, poor signage, and lousy marketing, and have not been able, as yet, to do the job very well.

This latest vote to "flip-flop" on this project, on which a great deal of work had been done, is just another excellent example of the current unstable governance and paralysis that is afflicting so many agencies, governments, and apparently now even whole countries, where no one can find a realistic consensus, or even wants to find a working consensus on anything. Now this kind of costly dysfunctional behavior is on display at the OCTA Board.

So we watch these agencies waste millions of dollars on studies, and then do nothing, while the taxpayers paying the bills, are stuck in worse and worse traffic.....
