Shinn ... plus, BART only really has to stop there around the times of an ACE train (Amtrak connection can be handled elsewhere, as now). It probably wouldn't even need to be a full-time staffed station. Close it up after the last ACE in the morning and evening; open up maybe 1/2 hour before the first ACE morning and evening, adjust closing as needed for conditions (late trains etc.). How about some nice spiderweb-style iron gates like the ones at Crystal Cave? When closed, BART trains can just blast on through.
