Yeah, that's the poster included the picture of Trump and his plane. Trump did do a kind of Whistlestop thing, It would be interesting to learn how the Whistlestop trains worked. What regions were used in, how long it took to cover however much ground, how railroads scheduled them. What were the train orders. Did they keep to schedule. That stuff. Fascinating bit of history.

The real problem now though is repairing the horrible damage to our democracy. Our FBI staged something awfully close to a coup here and JAmes Comey put his finger on the scales of this election in an unprecedented way.

There has to be reckoning for that. Hillary Clinton's e-mail server was stupid and arrogant but generated no criminal charges and was plainly more stupid than criminal. Even if you say the same thing for James Comey's actions during this election, it's a different thing to be stupid and arrogant with our elections. There are rules against it that were BLATANTLY violated. It's too late to redress this profound harm to American democracy. But it can be prevented from happening again. That's something really needs to be done. Be it by sending Comey to jail or just rewriting and reinforcing the rules.

Democracy demands nothing less.
