Great post. Glad you put some thought into it, unlike others, like Bob2 or this really sad poster named Hutch 7.01 who everyone thinks is lame but keeps posting (why?).
The protests are GREAT! Rejection and condemnation of Trump's rhetoric, his whole inflammatory campaign style, is so neccessary. You campaign like that, you don't get a honeymoon. You get protests. This is important.
We must figure out some way to prevent the FBI ever deciding an election like this ever again.
Comey did not think Trump would win, but he was covering his own butt in the event President Hillary was indicted. Comey should never have been able to make such a decision without hanging his own butt out to dry.
Upside of this election is rebuilding the democratic party can start now, instead of in four years, or eight (unlikely Hillary would be reelected). We're done with emailgate. Trump has ended up cleaning the stables of both the Bush family and the Clintons. Can u imagine how depressing this year would have been if it was Jeb v. Hill, the prospect of four years of one these dynasties?
Turns out a lot of the country are anti-anti-bigotry. They aren't necessarily bigots, but they don't like being called bigots, it's a turnoff.
Hillary wasted too much time preparing for TV time in New York. Should have been in the rust belt securing her victory. But her campaign had already decided those voters wouldn't matter in this election. Obviously she was wrong. Did u know that both Hillary and Donald spent most of their nights in New York at home?
Trump's presidency is going to be a joke and disaster and we just have to hope there are no major foreign policy incidents while he is Prez. We are entering a period of real weakness. Let's hope for the best.
Morale in our civil service ranks is going to plummet.
