A different commute
I'll echo Ester Wanning's critical comparison of a bus ride vs. a train ride. There is no comparison.
Buses are victim to the same congested roadways as automobiles. On-boarding and off-boarding is inefficient and time consuming. Seats and aisles are uncomfortably narrow.

Take a Golden Gate Transit bus from San Rafael to Santa Rosa and then take a CalTrain ride on the Peninsula. Which would entice you to get out of your car?

We need a fixed rail system in Marin and Sonoma.
We need Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit.
