"Any grain that might be being trucked to the ex-NP Coulee City line ends up on BNSF anyway." Other than missing the point completely...( I was talking about a trucking issue created by a railroad)do you think it would be so stinking criminal to take a fraction of the money that BN and BNSF has WASTED for decades trying to find an answer of getting trains in and out of the PNW smoothly...they could have expanded trackage on the GN...EVEN IF it meant running the grain eastbound to Spokane before it headed westbound to Pasco? I'm bloody well aware of the unstable track on the west side of Stevens Pass...that's why ALL the unit trains go around the horn. But you now have eight elevators trucking to the NP line...and btw, remember that every time a product is moved, the profit margin is sliced...you can't seem to see the forest for the trees...And it wouldn't be hard for me to believe that BNSF predicated that Unit Train elevator at Four Lakes...ONCE AGAIN pulling the wool over the eyes of Washington State....shameful...down right stinking shameful.
