That is what I plan to do. Make sure the King St owner gets a heads up on communicating with the customers and hopefully a little something for the wife's inconvenience. She will continue to ride the train because she prefers that mode of travel.
Round trip tickets with a first class sleeper seems expensive until you compare it to airline 1st class prices and then the train price seems reasonable. You might enjoy a few hours of the service on an airplane while on the train you enjoy a couple days of 1st class comfort. The 1st class rooms also take a good size piece of real estate available on each of the sleeper cars. For the above reasons I consider the sleeper a good value.
