The more weight you want to haul, the more rubber you have to put on the road. This rule includes Indians, Loggers, U.S. Mail Contractors and bed bug haulers too.
Here in Washington State, once the " standard 5-axle - 80,000 lb GVW " set-up of eighteen tires is on the ground, each additional axle is worth an additional 8,000 lbs., provided the axles are spaced far enough apart. So 80,000 + 24,000 equals 104,000 lbs, which is rounded up to 105,000 lbs GVW. Your weight may vary, depending on axle spacing, brake system capacity, and steer axle capacity.
