I have no knowledge of that. I was just trying to problem-solve
by making a general statement.
I apologize for not waiting until more folks had posted to get
more info before I posted. Not gonna do that again!
Should not have said anything, as such an inspection was not needed,
as I did not know the ties were defective because they had not been
pressure-treated with creosote, and other things were used, instead.
Even I know what creosote smalls like, and if the customer did
not smell it on new wood ties, that should have rung alarm bells,
but, then, were there other reasons why the customer did not smell
that strong creosote small coming from the defective ties?
In a y case, a sad situation.
And I apologize for posting what I did. As I said, shoulda waited.
