In a perfect world there would be rail (or express motor coach) within a 1 hour commute time to/from work and a place -
Where a one bedroom apartment doesn't cost $2000 a month, or house costs $4000 or $5000 a month, (what does Los Banos cost?)
You could walk to everything you need, stores, banks, doctors, school's, bar :P
You don't have to step over some homeless guy(s) expelling noxious gases and bodily secretions or worry they will go psycho on you or your family,
Or the big worry
You're on the train, hit a stupid trespasser, and next this you know your hours or 1/2 a day late to/from work, do that a couple of times and you wont have a job!
