IIRC, he's reviewed the "French dip" and famous hot mustard at Philippe's, so that's definitely a RR related topic, here in Sou Cal. It's where a whole lot of folks went for lunch, while visiting LAUPT's Train Day, just last week. It always was one of my favorite old time RR "beanery's" when worked the jobs at the Bullring, or on the "Street", and it still is today.

But, when it comes to memories of great RR "beanery's", I really miss the pork noodles from the "Atomic" Café, which used to be at the edge of Little Tokyo, where today folks look out on the Gold Line station on Alameda, from overpriced condo's.

I liked his reviews, so that's sad to hear.
