Los Angeles Southern Pacific Beanery's brings back great memories. When called for Passenger Philippe's was great just down Alameda street from LAUPT. Over at Los Angeles Yard it was like a 24/7 city with all the employee's coming and going and on all holidays! Van De Kamps on the corner of San Fernando Road and Fletcher was a big hang out for rails. So was Algemac's on San Fernando Road. But if in a hurry Fosters Freeze on Fletcher was great especially on hot days. Then the little beanery down at Taylor Round House, Good Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. Would hit it when called out of the "local Yard" If called out of the lower end of "C" Yard at Dayton Ave. Signal Tower "THE KEY" came in handy. Any old "UPRR" or "ATSF" rails out there with there hang outs?
