Who is "we"? I think this whole crisis is overstated, complicated, and has ended up as another pork barrel distribution fight. Life is not fair. Sometimes people make mistakes, and government does not have an obligation to "kiss it and make it well like mommie did." When you take on obligations you should know your circumstances may change, and that you may lose your shirt if you can't make the payments. When you loan money to someone you know there is an element of risk involved, and that you may not be repaid. Again, I don't see it as big brother's job to make you whole again after you have made a mistake or used poor judgment.
What the hell does this have to do with the varous railroad topics we discuss here? Not much if anything, in my opinion, and I urge us to get back to our common interest in railroads.
Best regard to call.
