In Rebuttal

Marty, aka "loggerhugger"
Lets get a few facts straight here.
The property on either side of the track where this photo was taken is owned by the United States Forest Service as is the road on which I drove in on. Obviously, you didn't even have the guts to try and take me on over it or even say anything, you needed to wait until Sunday when you could get someone else to do your dirty work. Since I took this photo over the heads of your tidy little group, they must have been aiming their cameras in the wrong diretion if, in fact, I was in your photos. I have yet to hear, either in person or email, one complaint other than from you.
Oh, "weaseling"? I am a little big to do that. A guy my size has a distinct problem going un-noticed
As for paying, I emailed you and offered to pay you to be on the trip, to which you never responded, so don't @#$%&. I will send to you as soon as I can, via U.S. Mail, the sum of $0.01 to help defray your costs.
As for Mr. Forbis "throwing" us off the property. Ben, Kevin, and I were politely asked to leave so he wouldn't have to listen to you cry and moan. Given the fact that all you were going to do was run around the McCloud Wye, I didn't care---Ben and I took off and went to Yreka. In terms of affecting your paying passengers, did you inform them that you had caused some of the air problems with the #25 yourself? I rather doubt it.
As far as my not paying for trips an "freeloading" as you imply, I currently hold tickets on PLA's excursions on Novewmber 1st and 2nd. Earlier this year, I purchased several tickets for the PLA/GGRM excursions with the #2472. The only trips "freeloaded" on this year were the #3751 trip on June 1st (which was sold out anyway) and the post-Winterail trip on the Sierra. That trip, by the way, afforded me the distinct honor and pleasure of blowing road dust over you and your brown-nosed companions at Cooperstown. Oh, by the way, the previous November, I had also purchased a ticket on the PLA double header. Damned expensive freeloading.
I would also like to point out that I have provided literally hundreds of photos for the rail community to view (which of course you never look at, right?) and many to be used in publications without charge and, unlike you, my ego does not require me to paste my name in large white type in the middle of the photo. I also do not represent any prints as photographic when, indeed, they are computer generated, nor do I need to use the uncredited work of others.
I also, unlike you, have never had the need to stroke my own self-image at the expense of the truth as you have done so often on Trainorders. I also do not have the need to leap to my own defense by posting under a psuedonym which, to me any way, seems to have resulted in the virgin birth of Rex Sherwood.
As you impart a certain amount of rudeness to my behavior, how come no one but Rexie has complained? At this point, I would like to point out your statement to Mr. Forbis about getting "Drew and his f**king kid" out of there. Of course, you said it so that must not be rude. The individual to which you refer is not my son but a fellow member of the Central CoastChapter, NRHS. I would suggest that, in the future, you do not use that terminology in regard to either my son or to Mr. Kletzer.
See you on the 1st of November
