I sure would like to see an "Area 51" for foamers. Wouldn't it be nice to be a railfan, and have nobody else, or a limited amount of fans there to disturb you. It would also be a treat to know that your "captive audience" is all paying their fair share too....

Get real. There are some of us who simply can't afford (or don't want to), but would like to participate in the event. Fine. Single us out as freeloaders.

The only reasons we shouldn't be able to see a special event is because:
1) It's sold out
2) Lack of money
3) Time constraints
4) Are not a railfan
5) Short notifications
6) Don't care
7) All of the above

If those planning/running events care to see any new dollars from the next generation of fans, you better get your heads out of the sand. When the money dries up, start looking for corporate sponsorship to keep the dollars coming in. I'd like to see your engine painted up in a Dorito's Cool Ranch paint scheme and running on tortilla chips.

So, Just keep shooing away potential customers. I'm sure you'll be proud of your accomplishments someday.
