Wiki:
"...and up to 125 mph (201 km/h) between Cocoa and the Orlando International Airport."

Virgin website:
Zone Three is approximately 35 miles of rail alignment following the Highway 528 corridor between OIA and Cocoa

So yes, 10-15 mins of 125 mph HSR. Yahoo! I'm happy for you and for HSR in America. Kudos Bob! Kudos America!

> "CAHSRA wants to pay my fully allocated Caltrans approved consulting rate, to help you get your spin straight"

Believe me, your spin is not worth the brain cells it spins on, it has to find them first. I think CAHSRA will take a pass on that one.

> "Virgin-Brightline is about building an affordable (to build, operate, and ride)rail system"

I like how you've changed it from high speed rail to rail system....you're learning oh wise one.

For same distance of Seattle to Tacoma I can ride a Sounder for $3.00.
What is a Miami to Fort L. ticket running for 10? 20?

Will Sounder subsidies continue downward because of increased ridership? I'm not sure. I do know Sounder is very popular and is continuously expanding. Will Brightline fares increase with ridership demand not matching service overhead after 2 years? Will it be an effective high end commuter tool when fully built out? I hope so. But a HSR system as most the world views HSR it is not.

I know you're all knowing but you might enjoy and maybe even learn something about what the rest of the world thinks HSR is:

I suppose upgrading from a 10 speed to an 18 speed bicycle was a major trauma in your life.

Who cares.
