No, the CS does not suck. In my experience (regular visits to SLO and or Ojai via Oxnard) the train is NOT always late. In fact SB from Oakland, we often arrive early in SLO. NB is mostly OT unless something dumb happens between LA and SLO. Upgrading the SJ to Oakland route to 2 main tracks all the way would help.
Yes, added frequencies are needed. A return of overnite service between Sac and LA would be useful.
