I for one would like to see a complete list of those still in business shippers who would ship via the new NWP and not a listing of anticipated shippers. It 's like what Drew has said as well as others, to be continuly pouring both state & federal $$$ into this long dormant line is just plain insane right now given the current state of the econmomy and alot of future unknowns.
Of those shippers still in business (those whose very existence is tied to the housing market), how many outbound or inbound laods per day/per week are they committing themselves to in support of the new NWP ?
And if these remaining shippers can't ship out or receive in enough loads to support the new NWP, will the shortfall in revenue fall to the taxpayers ?
It's like what I used to say to my teenage daughter whenever she wanted something from Dad:
"What's in it for me" ?
