This is so dumb and so typical of misnamed SMART. A new high-level bridge should be built paralleling the freeway bridge - a permanent fixed solution to the boat access problem on the Petaluma River. The highway crowd is not so stupid - they built a real bridge. Light rail could easily negotiaate a similarly steep ramp

Let the NWP cope with the bridge it's got for what few years it has left. Sonoma County is just throwing away what little transit money it has on nostalgia.
