The only problem with this theory is that Moscow Mitch has already announced his intenction of doing exactly this. This is after he was so crudely partisan he didn't even afford Merritt Garland the courtesy of hearingas or a confirmation vote (he would have lost, in case you didn't notice), saying that the incoming prezzy should make the appointment. OK, fine, let's do that again. If Pres Bonsespurs wins, he gets to make the appointment, if not . . .
