They DON'T want to sweep it under the rug. They just want all facets of the investigation explored. Why is there no body cam footage of the twenty-some Trump supporters allegedly shouting racial slurs at the officer who was crying a river when he was testifying? Why did the New York Times say that Trump supporters killed a cop with a fire extinguisher? Why is there video footage of mysterious operatives passing off visual signals to each other in the Capitol building? Why did Nancy Pelosi decline offers for reinforcements? Why was the officer who shot George Floyd quickly identified but the one who shot Ashli Babbitt STILL hasn't been identified?

The Left wants to talk about that and nothing else. Why is so much more attention being placed on January 6th? The only cops who died did so of natural causes. Why does no one want to talk about the riots in Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, Kenosha and other places, where people have actually been killed and their killers have, thus far, walked away with impunity? Why does a biased news media insist on calling those riots "peaceful protests"?
At the rate the country is coming apart at the seams, the Dems are probably going to get their asses kicked in the mid-terms and 2024. They have to incessantly talk about January 6th because they have nothing else to talk about. They certainly can't brag about what a robust economy Biden has brought us or how we're no longer being invaded at the southern border.
