The FRRS has no ownership claim, nor ever had any ownership claim, to the 8.

The Plumas Fairboard might, but they would need to wade through a bunch of legal docs going back 60 plus years.

Safety and operational disagreements were at the heart of the FRSL / FRRS split, not to mention personalities. There was certainly a couple bad actors both sides.

FRRS has never been anti-steam.
