#1 Most of the people trying to cross here are using a Parking garage adjacent to the Convention Center. A Pedestrian overpass is under construction from that structure to the foot of the Ballpark. All other parking, the trolley stops and freeway access is on the other side as are the Trolley security guards.
#2 The lead-in to this story is 180 degrees from what was in the video as this was pre-game.
#3 The BNSF operates over two passenger railroads from here and basically has to get up to 4 freights a night over those lines in a 6pm-4am window. Yea, this freight has to double over and get going and meet other freights, passengers and do a pickup at Stuart Mesa and get to Barstow all with the wonderful two man crew setup.
#4. If there are BNSF SO's in San Diego the two of them probably work different shifts. As they could not keep the locals from drifting over fron the Port Park and Redecorating the engines I would not hold too much hope.
