What is that supposed to mean? The unions tried to keep them from buying all that new power over the past decade? That all those new signal appliances were bought buy overcoming the unions?
Productive? You mean like early Henry Ford assembly lines?
I remember it wasn't that long ago that I would be given an 8 or 9 page switchlist and was simply told "do this and go home" Man, let me tell you...the cars got moved! THAT'S production...now everyone has to be real cautious (slow) so we don't get fired for not saying "red zone" or walking around the cut of cars the EXACT prescribed feet, etc. etc.
Productive? Do tell!
