first, chocolate originates in Mexico. There is some justice in having a plant in the same nation as the beans are grown.
Now as to unions, Some years back I was involved in a residential remodel/addition for a Union President--no union construction workers on the site all pay in cash. more recently did a job in a union office space. When I reminded them I was freelance, they said, cheap price gets the job. I asked for my standard wages and did the work. So much for union solidarity.
