Ken, I would like to hear the story of why the onion plant closed and why the Sacramento Northern lost this carload traffic. A fellow that I know said that he knew the owner of the company and that the owner decided to move the operations to some other place where operational costa would be far lower and planned to make a lot more money at the new location. Sadly, it did not work out as the owner planned. Does anyone know the story of this? Also, I would like to know what the other carload freight customers were on the Sacramento Northern's Vacaville and Willotta branches in the past when they were active.
