We tested up Cajon last Thusday 8/30 and it was sure a hectic place. With track and time authority and clearance through Form B's my pilot and I really had to watch for trucks, excavating machinery and workers all the way up the X-miles on Main 1. My take is that the BNSF and the contractors are concerned about any possibility of a liability claim and are extra vigilant. There were, however a number of railfans on the hill 582 perch which I believe is privately owned. I've been working in this area for 9 years and am awed by the rapid changes every time we test through here. Use caution. dp gallagher, victorville, ca.
