My Soapbox - Mr. Speaker and all

I rarely reply to anything on this discussion board but let me just say, bluntly, that Mr. Speaker gives the hobby a really bad name and makes the rest of us look bad. I have no problem that he climbs trees, high voltage power line towers, fences, hills, ect. There has never been a doubt that he is an excellent photographer and always has been. BUT he is also a loose canon, drives like a fool, demands(!) information from employees and generally makes a pest of himself at all railfan functions (ie. Winterail).

Jim, you need to cool it!! You are one of the very few railfans I avoid at all cost. And now you've proven you can't be trusted because Dave has indicated, correctly, that your @#$%& about being busted by the BNSF cops was just another tall tale. Not surprising.

I suggest you get together with Peter Warner...you can at least keep each other company while out railfanning and riding Amtrak trains. Just keep away from the rest of us.

Ernie
