Glad to hear 2-8-0 25 mentioned...if the specs that I have seen are correct, she'd be a better
puller than the 15, given that t.e. is essentially the same but weight on the drivers is
greater. Granted, the profile there is not hard on a locomotive, but it would be interesting
to me to see her run someday.
The earlier comments about Harold Borovec are certainly right on as he's one of the nicest
gents you'll ever meet. I first ran into him in the summer of '86 while he was running
Heisler 91 in nearby Elbe on the MRSR. He got one of the coach attendents to keep close watch
on my two kids and gave me a ride to Mineral & back on the engine.
