So wait a minute...Dr. Zarkoff and What the...? are one-in-the same people? Okay, whatever....

Your understanding of the "facts" regarding Rush's case is incorrect. First of all, the event in 2006 is NOT as you describe. The FACTS of this incident are that Rush traveled out of country on his private jet. I'm not going to Google this and look up the facts (because I'm getting bored to be quite honest), but off the top of my head I think this occurred at a small, private airport. There are a lot of politics that went on with the District Attorney in this case, and if you examine things closely, you will see that Rush was treated much differently (harsher) than the average Joe. The DA was out to get Rush---at any cost. On that day in 2006, the DA directed his buddy at Customs to go and setup a whole slew of people in a private hangar to pull a surprise on Rush, and go through everything with a fine tooth comb. This was highly unusual and completely out of the ordinary. As the Federal goons searched through Rush's personal possessions, those of his passengers, and through his entire private jet, they found ONE bottle of Viagra that had someone else's name on it. That bottle of Viagra belonged to Rush, and the name on the label was his "stage name" that he uses so that the tabloids won't get a hold of what he, as a private citizen, does in the privacy of his own home. It was NOT illegal what took place that day for Rush to be in possession of Viagra in someone else's name. He was on probation at the time, and if anything illegal was taking place, he would have been arrested. Nothing happened out of that incident because nothing illegal was going on---just more harassment by the government of a private citizen. For you to bend that into something else is being very intellectually dishonest.

Af far as Rush fighting the DA every step of the way, you're damn right I'm glad he did that. I'm glad for him, and I'm glad for all of us as well. It is none of the government's business to see what we have in our personal medical files, and the DA was once again playing dirty and playing political because he was out to get Rush from the beginning. Rush has the money and resources to fight this, and I'm sure if you were in a similar situation, you would fight it as well. Again, for you to twist this into something else is being completely dishonest as to the facts that took place. Perhaps if you LISTENED to his program and stopped reading things that other people write about him, you would be more informed.

Rush got hooked on painkillers, admitted the mistake, got treatment, and in the end he took a plea deal and was put on probation. So what the hell is your point?
