As a "Cost Engineer" one of my requirements was to send a monthly "Progress Report" to John Ingram. You haven't lived until (well OK, you have lived if you have similar experiences) you have obtained a mimeograph stencil from an agent, fired up your Smith Corona portable typewriter, manually typed/corrected your report on a mimeograph stencil, printed same at the station and mailed off same to headquarters.

I liked those agents, "negotiating" with them was an experience, but, for all that, they were really good people.
