While the Sierra may have different rules that the UP. I'm not sure if Sierra Northern uses GCOR. Yard Limits is a form of MAIN track authority. Since this is not a main track on UP as OPRRMS stated, then it can not be yard limits. If it is/was considered a main track by Sierra then maybe they used yard limits. Most likely the sign is just a remnant...
