the Chief Illini an ex RI 10 sec lounge obs. had upper 10 on an Illini RR Club Chicago-Veracruz trip 50 years ago. A couple years later sat on the same platform behind 5632 (CB&Q 4-8-4) watching the headlight of a freight "riding the yellows" as we returned from Galesburg to Chicago.
